Sacred Object Journal is written and maintained as an editorial desk. The byline names the publication voice, not an invented person, clerical office, conservation credential, or institutional relationship.
The desk works from the research contracts in this project: Church and canonical sources for definitions and devotional context, museums and libraries for object records, conservation institutions for preventive care, and current retail vocabulary only for reader language.
